Have you catch the latest Fast & Furious 4 movie in the cinema yet? Well to those of you who said yes, I'm sure you fancy being Vin Diesel in that oil-tanker scene right?
Well, you can now relive the moment, in a less dangerous way too. All you need to do is download the game to your iTouch or iPhone and you're good to go. The game offers 36 different vehicles, 18 levels with 4 unique environments. It is more of an arcade racer than a traditional sim racer. Cleverly, the game also ties in with scenes inspired by the actual movie and offers a story mode that takes you through the different races.
The coolest part of this game is that the developers, Firemint, integrates the CloudCell technology into Fast & Furious, allowing players to compete against others in online and upload replays of your races to YouTube.
You can also race with your friends (of course they need to have the game on their iTouch/iPhone) via Wi-Fi multiplayer function alongside the online leaderboard competitions. The controls are somewhat simplified as compared to more traditional racers. Controls are accelerometer based with automatic acceleration. Braking is easily performed by tapping on the screen. And when you need some boost-juice, simply tab on the "nitro" for extra speed.
