There isn't much info about the game yet, even the official website here is just quite bare. But what we can tell you is that Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music are releasing remastered versions of the entire Beatles catalog to go along with the release of the game on September 9th.

Each of the new CDs is packaged with replicated original UK album art, including expanded booklets containing original and newly written liner notes and rare photographs. Each CD will be embedded with a documentary film about the album too.
As if that wasn't enough, two new Beatles boxed CD collections will be released on the 9th. The first box will contain the stereo mixes of all twelve "original" Beatles albums, Magical Mystery Tour, and Past Masters Vol. I and II. That's 14 titles on 16 discs.
For the ultimate collector, The second Beatles box will contain all of the Beatles recordings that were mixed for a mono release -- ten albums in their original mono glory, plus two discs of mono masters. As an added bonus, the mono Help! and Rubber Soul discs also include the original 1965 stereo mixes, which have not been previously released on CD. These albums will be packaged in mini-vinyl CD replicas of the original sleeves with all original inserts and label designs retained.
That all sounds good right? Well what is not so cool now is that there aren't any announced plans to put out downloadable versions of the Beatles catalog. The big boys are still "in discussion".
The Beatles: Rockband is slated to be released on the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.
