GTA IV named EMA Game of The Year

The Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) has just announced its Video Game Home Entertainment Awards, with Grand Theft Auto IV named as Game of The Year.
GTA IV also claimed the Action/Adventure Game of the Year category.

Nominees were chosen by a committee of retailers and distributors, in which winners were then chosen by the rest of the association's retailer and distributor member base. All games included in the awards had to be released in 2008.
